Come join us for an extraordinary career in a high growth, team-oriented company!The Gig...As a CNC Machinist, you will set-up and operate CNC Mill Machines to produce highly precisioncomponent parts that meet all quality standards.Job Duties:Set up and operate a variety of computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines and equipment, and machine parts from customer-stated specifications (e. g. blueprints, drawings)Checks to make sure that the material to be used meets all specificationsPerforms some programming and complex set-upsMakes all required adjustments to the machinery. Obtains tooling, gages, inserts and all other equipment needed to complete the set-up and brings up the program. Edits the program as necessaryInsures that all manufactured parts are in full compliance to quality standards. Performs visual inspections (part relationship to operation sheet/blueprint configuration) on all parts produced and performs actual dimensional verification using measuring instruments as per the guidelines established by the department or the Quality Assurance DepartmentMust be aware of, and work to, established set-up and part per hour run times, and part quality requirements as established on work ordersVerifies and records actual part count, both prior to and upon completion of all workMoves the finished work to an assigned area. Enters all work performed in the database and documents all scrapPerforms other machining and assembly operations as neededComply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timeQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentStrong interpersonal and analytical skillsMust be able to read and write comments, understand operation sheets/blueprints, specifications, and all applicable Company/Customer paperworkMust be able to read and edit CNC Programs3-5 plus years of increasingly diverse experience with CNC Machines in either a machine shop or CNC machining environment.
