We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer - Prototype Machinist to join our dynamic team in Hanover Park, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality prototypes and production runs. If you have a passion for precision machining and a strong understanding of GD&T, G-Code, and M-Code, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and lathes (2-4 axis) to produce precision parts.Set up machines for production runs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Utilize GD&T to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.Write and modify G-Code and M-Code as necessary for various machining operations.Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce lead times.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Programmer and Machinist.Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.Experience with CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC lathes (2-4 axis).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.You should be proficient in:GD&TG-CodeM-CodeMachine Setups for Production RunsMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Makino, Fanuc, Brother, Haas)CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
