Position: Electrical Engineering Technician (Must Have Manufacturing Exp) Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 5 Months Total Hours/week: 40.00 Shift: 1st Shift Client: Medical Device Company Level of Experience: Mid-Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens, GC Holders, or OPT EAD) Work hours: 8 to 5 Must Haves on the Resume: A.S. Degree or experience in electrical/mechanical work and troubleshooting MS Excel knowledge Device manufacturing experience Preferred Qualifications: A.S. degree 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing assembly in a device manufacturing environment with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting SolidWorks knowledge (a plus) Job Responsibilities: Build, test, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic circuitry and systems used in finished equipment or prototypes. Understand electronic and electromechanical systems. Use laboratory test equipment effectively. Assemble prototype devices and systems. Fabricate electronic and electromechanical test fixtures. Execute subsystem/system qualification protocols with moderate supervision. Set up data acquisition equipment. Analyze test results statistically, investigate failures, and document findings. Adhere to SOPs and quality guidelines. Work with moderate supervision. Specific Responsibilities for This Role: Assist in manufacturing process development for new products, document steps, manage materials, and gather specifications. Participate in hardware assembly during pilot and prototype builds. Document assembly steps, tools used, build times, and acceptance criteria. Manage prototype and pilot build materials, inspect parts, and update documentation. Familiarity with MS Office; SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.
