This partnership is our most prized possession.Qualified candidates must have an outstanding work ethic, be self-motivated and have a “can do/get it done” positive attitude._*Essential Functions:*_· Tig/Mig welder - weld component parts to blueprint specifications.- Using knowledge of blueprints and welding symbols to complete job assignment.-Using hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks.· Make basic jigs & fixtures as needed.· Able to safely rig and move parts to next department as needed.· Committed to cost reduction and Continuous Improvement and Lean Thinking· Work with the production supervisor on daily/weekly department production schedule.· Prioritize and delegate tasks for the team to meet the production schedule goal.· Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed and report any needs or violations to management.· Provide timely feedback to production supervisor regarding concerns or needs within your area.· Complete knowledge of all phases of welding and fabrication related skills.· High degree of fit/finishing skills.· Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment.· Train new employees, develop current employees, and assist with ongoing coaching and improvement i.e., custom jobs etc.· Attend morning team meetings_*Minimum qualifications:*_· Must have team lead or leadership experience.· Proficient at Tig Aluminum welding (Experience with cab racks and toolboxes a big plus) and be able to read product prints· Self-assess work and use good judgment to ensure that a quality product is produced.· Strong work ethic and strong attention to detail.· Must be reliable and trustworthy.· A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a production welder with MIG and TIG welding experience· *Must pass pre-employment weld test.*· Able to work Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional required overtime.Job Type: Full-timePay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceApplication Question(s):* How many years of leadership or leading a team do you have?Experience:* Aluminum TIG Welding: 2 years (Preferred)* Aluminum MIG Welding: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: In person
