$8 per hour Job Description: The purpose of the Office Assistant (OA) position is to provide administrative support to on-campus communities at Baylor University. As employees of Campus Living & Learning, OAs are expected to recognize the value and importance of the on-campus living experience. OAs should be a helpful resource and referral agent for residents, parents, visitors, and staff in our communities. In addition, the OA plays a vital role in the safety and security of our residential communities by being aware of escort and visitation policies, verifying resident identity when applicable, and communicating issues of concern to other residence hall support staff. Job Functions/Responsibilities: Monitor door security Provide administrative support to residents Maintain records for maintenance issues, equipment use, lost and found, and gift registries Be knowledgeable of on-campus resources Support residents in communicating issues of concern to other staff members Enforce and uphold CL&L policies Complete other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervising RHD Required Skills: Typing Ability to complete administrative tasks as requested Ability to provide customer service to a diverse population Ability to work on a team Sound judgement to respond to needs or crises Provide general office assistance and support Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance Employer:
