Program Coordinator
This is a remote position. Hybrid | Community-Based | Statewide Travel (Colorado) Lead transformational programs that restore dignity, build purpose, and ignite healing in justice-impacted and recovery-centered communities. in community, in purpose, and in power. We are seeking a passionate and highly organized Program Coordinator to lead two of our flagship initiatives: BeFree
supporting individuals transitioning from the criminal justice system into lives rooted in healing and empowerment. Discover Your Recovery (DYR)
offering pro-social, pro-spiritual wellness and recovery programming for all community members. This role requires someone who is a natural connector, strategic thinker, and operational leader
someone who can move between direct service, program development, and community partnerships with heart and precision. You will work both remotely and in-person to ensure culturally responsive, accessible, and impactful service delivery across Colorado. Requirements
Your Role in the Mission You will bring structure, soul, and strategy to our recovery programs, ensuring each space reflects our core values of bravery, innovation, learning, connection, and accountability. From leading support groups to building partnerships, you'll play a central role in how we show up and serve. Program Development & Oversight Design, implement, and manage daily operations of BeFree and DYR programs in alignment with HardBeauty's vision and values. Develop goals, strategies, and key performance indicators to measure and grow program impact. Track outcomes and ensure quality through strong data practices and continuous improvement. Champion diverse recovery pathways and support individualized journeys of healing and growth. Participant & Community Engagement Facilitate and support trauma-informed recovery groups, events, and workshops that empower clients and elevate lived experience. Build and maintain intake and engagement systems grounded in equity, transparency, and dignity. Create a welcoming, inclusive environment across all program touchpoints. Offer consistent support and communication to program participants to foster trust, healing, and long-term engagement. Outreach & Partnerships Cultivate meaningful relationships with community partners: courts, law enforcement, nonprofits, healthcare providers, and others. Work closely with the outreach team to increase visibility and impact of BeFree and DYR across Colorado. Implement outreach strategies that reflect the spiritual and communal values at the core of our mission. Communication & Reporting Deliver clear, consistent updates to staff, stakeholders, and leadership. Prepare monthly reports on program outcomes, budget tracking, and goal progress. Represent HardBeauty at community events, collaborative partnerships, and regional meetings with authentic leadership. Budget & Fund Development Assist in tracking program budgets and financial processes with accountability and integrity. Support fundraising and grant writing efforts to ensure sustainability and growth. Learning & Innovation Stay up-to-date on emerging practices in peer recovery, trauma healing, mental health, and justice reform. Offer creative ideas and solutions that elevate the program's reach, relevance, and equity. Engage in ongoing professional development and team learning. What You Bring Minimum Qualifications: Experience in program coordination, peer recovery, case management, or community-based initiatives. Strong grasp of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and person-centered recovery practices. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in hybrid settings with flexibility and initiative. Comfort leading both virtual and in-person programming across diverse communities. Proficiency with documentation, data collection, and reporting tools. Preferred: Lived experience with recovery and/or involvement in the criminal justice system. Deep connection to HardBeauty's mission and values. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Work Environment & Travel Hybrid role with remote admin work and regular in-person presence in Denver Metro, Castle Rock, and Colorado Springs. Statewide travel within Colorado is required for program needs, events, and stakeholder engagement. Must be comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends to meet community availability.
