Distribution Associate - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading company in the automotive parts industry, is seeking a Distribution Associate to join their team. As a Distribution Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Distribution AssociateLocation: Somerset, PAPay Range: $14 per hourShift: Monday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Thursday-Friday 5a-130pWhat's the Job? Using both voice-directed warehouse picking systems and paper orders to accurately pull stock to meet demand. Packaging orders to ensure no shipping damage and compliance with all shipping guidelines. Verifying part numbers and quantities to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment. Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other necessary equipment. Combining conveyable and non-conveyable stock according to customer orders, ensuring packaging meets shipping guidelines.What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED. No prior work experience necessary. Forklift certification or prior experience is preferred. Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.What's in it for me?
