Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for working on industrial baking equipment, performing preventive maintenance and addressing breakdowns of various machinery, including mixers, ovens, chillers, conveyors, packaging equipment, and more. You will utilize volt meters to detect electrical issues, read and reset HMI's and VFD's, and reassemble machines as needed. Your role will involve both electrical and mechanical work, including troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, PLCs, and handling sprockets, gears, shafts, and bearings. Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs on mixers, ovens, chillers, conveyors, packaging equipment, and more. Utilize volt meters to detect and troubleshoot electrical issues. Read and reset HMI's and VFD's to diagnose problems. Tear down and reassemble machinery as needed. Maintain documentation in maintenance logs. Work on vertical baggers, cartoners, ink jet printers, and packaging equipment. Handle bulk flour systems and industrial ovens, proofers, conveyors, and dryers. Complete daily log reports, emergency breakdown reports, work orders, and communicate with incoming shifts. Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, metal detectors, and scales. Test the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test instruments. Fabricate guards using measuring devices, cutting tools, and welders. Install electronic parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools. Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment. Essential Skills
3-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues. Experience in swapping, repairing, and wiring motors. GMP experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC Programming and advanced troubleshooting. Boiler (steam) maintenance experience. Welding - Stick and Tig experience. Bakery experience. Why Work Here?

The schedule includes working six days a week with a rotating off day, ensuring at least 48 hours of work per week. The facility spans four buildings, requiring walking outside between them. After 90 days, uniforms are provided, with t-shirts and jeans acceptable beforehand. As this is an older bakery plant, employees should be comfortable with the heat. Pay and Benefits
