Drive the vision and roadmap of the enterprise data strategy. Serve as a hands-on technical manager and manage a team of data architect and data analysts. This position is expected to be hybrid. NYC Salary Range - $150,000-$165,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location. What You'll Do

Collaborate with various data management teams, business units, data analysts, data engineers, and product managers to gather requirements, reduce silos and optimize collaborations. Manage a team of data architect and analysts to execute on the vision of company's data strategy. Work with Enterprise Data Governance. Leverage resources to document data artifacts like policy and procedures, guides, toolkits, roadmaps. Work with data architect to come up with a comprehensive data solution. Lead meetings with key stakeholders to discuss progress on the company's data strategy and vision. Track milestones and create project plans in accordance with the team's roadmap. Work with various business units to prioritize workloads and execute data projects on time. Design and develop dashboards and KPIs in Tableau/Power BI and telling a story based on insights from data. Be proactive towards learning new technologies. Evaluate, design, propose, and secure approval for all design and implementation. Adhere to the organization's data protection and network securities and antivirus policies. Stay updated on industry trends, and attend training, conferences, and seminars according to organization's business requirements. Participate in Credit Union training and development programs. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. What We're Seeking

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; OR Equivalent work experience 8 years of software development experience 3 years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions 2 years of experience in managing data teams Strong communication skills Proven track record of successfully managing technical teams focused on data practices Experience in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Knowledge of ETL tool like SSIS, Azure pipeline, Synapse Analytics, or Data factory Hands on writing TSQL or PLSQL code using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Exposure to Project Management tools What Makes You Stand Out

Prior experience with a Center of Excellence preferred Experience with data security practices using a combination of layered security controls: network, identity, privacy, and authorization Familiarity with single sign-on (SSO) authentication using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Who We Are
