NYC Salary Range - $140,000-$155,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location. What You'll Do

Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCUs mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors. Collaborate with data management teams to understand the companys overarching data requirements. Maintain and improve existing processes; ensuring that data architecture remains scalable and maintainable. Gather requirements and business process insights to transform data to support end-user needs. Design and code data warehousing and data lake systems to desired specifications. Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Extract company data for migration to the new data warehousing environment; conduct testing to validate functionality and data accuracy post-migration. Collaborate with business units, developers, product managers, and leadership to design and deliver precise, high-quality data solutions. Analyze data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, communicating findings to end-users, and proposing effective solutions. Develop and maintain technical artifacts related to data practices across the organization. Support business units for various open projects. Troubleshoot issues, providing maintenance and support as needed. Stay abreast of industry trends, and attend training, conferences, and seminars according to the organizations business requirements. Participate in Credit Union training and development programs. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of experience in Data Architect Role 4+ years of strong working knowledge in Datawarehouse 4+ years software development experience on Microsoft data products Proven work experience in ETL development using Microsoft SQL Server Platform and Oracle DBMS Proficiency in SQL, including query performance tuning, index maintenance, and understanding of database structures Knowledge of ETL tool like SSIS, Azure pipeline, Synapse Analytics, Data factory Ability to analyze big-picture data needs for the organization Experience in Data Migration from various systems to SQL Server Database What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with creating reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI Exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies like Microsoft Fabric, SQL Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse Knowledge of various SQL data storage mechanisms and Big Data technologies Proficiency in coding languages, including Python, SQL, and DAX Experience in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Experience with data security practices using a combination of layered security controls: network, identity, privacy, and authorization Familiarity with single sign-on (SSO) authentication using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Exposure to Data encryption tools and standards Exposure to XML and HTML Knowledge of financial/banking industry Who We Are
