CNC Machinist 1st Shift
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to perform complex set-up, operation, and maintenance of one or more production machines in the assigned work area. The CNC Machinist may also assist with training other machine operators. Our company designs, engineers, and manufactures custom-engineered mechatronic products for a variety of industries. Control and adjust machine settings to complete complex tasks. Perform machine set-up/changeover to produce required products or components by making mechanical adjustments to meet specifications. Conduct first-time set-up of equipment for new products through programming, profiling, and mechanical/software adjustments. Operate equipment to achieve production requirements and quality goals; make minor adjustments to correct machine output as needed. Perform manual production operations as required, such as applying labels, placing components, and loading/unloading equipment. Visually inspect machine output to verify proper assembly and workmanship standards. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities in accordance with machine operation manuals or maintenance work instructions. Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules. Essential Skills
5 years of experience setting up CNC Mill or 2+ years with a vocational school certificate. Experience machining off of CAD/CAM models. Ability to read blueprints. Precision measuring tool experience - micrometers, calipers, gauges. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Additional years of experience setting up CNC Mill machine. Direct Haas CNC VMC experience. Experience in machining within the Aerospace industry. Experience in an ITAR compliant facility. Experience in an AS9100 certified facility. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
