Openings in secondary schools: Boyertown Area Senior High School: 7:48am - 2:48pm Learning Support Paraprofessional Autistic Support Paraprofessional Emotional Support Paraprofessional Life Skills Support Paraprofessional Middle School West: 7:40am - 2:40pm Learning Support Paraprofessional Middle School East: Learning Support Paraprofessional: 7:40am - 2:40pm Life Skills Support Paraprofessional: 7:45am - 2:45pm Openings in elementary schools: Colebrookdale Elementary School: Autistic Support Paraprofessional Learning Support Paraprofessional Earl Elementary School: 8:25am - 3:25pm Learning Support Paraprofessional Washington Elementary School: 8:30am - 3:30pm Life Skills Support Paraprofessional Summary: The hourly paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment in Boyertown Area School District is $16 per hour. The paraprofessional position will work on all student days during the school calendar year, 6.5 paid hours per day on full school days (scheduled 7 hours/day with a 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break). Paraprofessionals will support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills Support. PTO: Employees who work 6.5 or more hours per day for a full 5-day work week are eligible for 8 PTO days (prorated based on hire date). Primary Responsibilities: Provide assistance to students with special needs who have IEPs or 504 plans. Reinforcing learning concepts and skills. Working with students individually or in small groups. Work with students on organizational skills, guide students in activities, monitor student progress. Managing students behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment. Supervising students during lunch, arrivals/dismissals, and other non-instructional areas. Directly support students at the direction of classroom teacher and building Principal.
