Key Responsibilities: Review and approve water and wastewater construction drawings for land and subdivision development Ensure compliance with utility policies, standards, and city codes Provide technical guidance and customer service to internal and external stakeholders Conduct permit reviews and utility approvals through the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department Resolve complex technical issues related to real estate, easements, and utility design Administer programs and projects in alignment with tariffs, policies, and regulations Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery Who Are You: The ideal candidate will come with: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred) 47 years of relevant engineering experience Strong understanding of land development processes and utility infrastructure Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings and using tools like Blue Beam Experience coordinating multiple projects through design and construction phases Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Valid, non-restricted driver's license The military job codes/duty codes most closely related to this role are: 120A, 12A, 51S, 881A 32E1, 32E2, 32E3, 32E4, 32EX 5311, 5904, 5310, 122, 5960, 8004, 144 1301, 1302, 1310, 2070, 6004, 6005, 9620, 9622, 9624, 9626, 9630, 9631, 9632 Our Commitment to Our Employees Our people are the heart and soul of Colorado Springs Utilities.
