Book Tower and Method Hospitality are looking for passionate Servers to join our team at Le Suprême, located on the corner of Washington Blvd and Grand River in the historic Book Tower.
Le Suprême, offers all-day French fare in the brasserie's elegant dining room, alfresco, in the restaurant's bar or within its private dining room. Enter off Washington Boulevard or through The Rotunda to indulge in a menu comprised of Parisian specialties as well as fresh pastries, breads and desserts from the adjoining patisserie and boulangerie. Le Suprême's full-service bar will also offer a curated cocktail program and a selection of over 300 world-class wines and champagne.
Server Job Responsibilities:
Greet tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence Strong, upbeat and positive personality Adhere to established service standards and protocols Ring in orders correctly & in a timely fashion Offer suggestions for beverage and food, by genuinely investing in and enhancing the guest's experience Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure guests' satisfaction If a guest has a qualm, bring it to the attention of a manager immediately and evaluate how to proceed from there Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail Passion for food, beverage and hospitality Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment Team oriented mentality Dependability Required Experience:
Knowledge of both classic and current food and beverage trends Minimum 2-3 years of service experience in an fast-paced & upscale setting Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be a team player with a strong work ethic Working Conditions/Environment
The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight to 10 (8 to 10) hours per day. Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently. The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
