Major Focus: Take ownership of inspecting incoming parts from suppliers and in-process/final inspection in support of operations. Key Responsibilities:

Inspection of incoming hardware using hand gaging, CMM, optical comparator, surface profilometer. Inspection of parts to visual standards. Communicate non-conformances via MRR process. Recommend process improvement to reduce inspection time of incoming hardware. Major Challenges:

Constant urgency to expedite parts through inspection process. Visual acceptance criteria are subjective and/or open to interpretation, in some cases. Operating CMM requires proficiency. Expected Performance Outcomes:

0% late deliveries due to incoming inspection. Develop inspection techniques to improve throughput by reducing inspection time by 10%. Incoming inspections completed with 48 hours of receipt. Required Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred. Proven experience with use of measurement equipment. Able to read drawings/blue prints. Proficiency with Computer skills. Technical Knowledge/Skills:

Read drawings/GD&T. Advanced measurement equipment (surface profilometer, optical comparator, CMM). ASQ Certification a plus. Prior use of Hexagon CMM using PC-DMIS Software. Selection Criteria:
