Van Der Hout LLP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our dedicated team of attorneys and paralegals. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence with precision. Assisting with high-volume data entry, monitor and calendar deadlines, prepare legal documents, conduct client intake and phone screenings, file court documents, opening new cases, and maintaining organized file systems. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate with the team on various office-related tasks as needed to enhance overall operations. Qualifications: 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred, with a strong preference for candidates with law firm experience. College degree preferred. Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient or advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity of LawLogix and Centerbase a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Spanish a plus.
