Legal Assistant Position

A mid-size law firm in Seattle is looking to hire a legal assistant to support attorneys in their civil litigation group. This is a permanent, hybrid role, supporting a dynamic group of litigation attorneys and paralegals. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach to a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities: Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and memoranda, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Coordinate administrative and court filings, including e-filing, in compliance with state and federal court rules. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attorneys, court staff, and other stakeholders. Conduct conflict checks and facilitate the opening of new client matters. Manage attorneys' calendars, project deadlines, and scheduling needs to ensure efficiency. Organize and maintain both electronic and physical legal files for easy accessibility. Prioritize and manage workload effectively to support attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks. Provide general office support, including document formatting, proofreading, and other related duties. Requirements: Minimum of three years of experience as a litigation legal assistant. Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and filing systems.
