Intake Mental Health Technician

Palmetto Lowcountry is now seeking to fill a full-time Intake Mental Health Technician position. The MHT will provide direct patient care to patients with psychiatric disorders, addictive disease disorders or related substance abuse or chemical dependency problems or those dually diagnosed with psychiatric and chemically dependency disorders; to ensure the safety and well-being of these patients; to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu. Includes, but is not limited to: Provides direct care and supervision to patients. Inventory patient personal belongings. Monitor patient behavior and boundaries intervening as necessary. Experience: Minimum of one year of healthcare or behavioral health related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
