Clerical Specialist Ii - 21002400
This position provides clerical support for the coordination and execution of day-to-day work associated with the central mailroom. The selected candidate will assist with a variety of tasks including mail delivery, data entry, scanning, and filing of both physical and electronic documents. Duties and Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and deliver mail and ensure prompt delivery to the intended recipients Timely pick-up and delivery of inter-office mail, materials, and office supplies to units located in both the main office and outlying buildings using a hand truck (occasionally in adverse weather conditions) Process both paper and electronic documents and attach to corresponding case file using our in-house case management software Telephone communication with other units, the public, and law enforcement agencies Handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion Assist with restocking office supplies Other duties as assigned by the Support Staff Supervisor Qualifications: High School degree and some previous clerical or secretarial experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent time management skills and ability to meet daily deadlines Detail oriented Ability to lift files boxes weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to walk up to 4 hours per day while performing mailroom duties and outdoor courier routes To apply, please visit
