Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will perform inspections, installations, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment by reading and interpreting equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders. This role involves emergency and unscheduled repairs, preventative maintenance, and routine checks on production equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, fillers, agitators, and motors. The position requires diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Responsibilities Perform inspections, installs, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders. Conduct emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed. Carry out preventative maintenance and routine checks on production equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with equipment. Work on pug mills, conveyors, hammer mills, fans, motors, etc. Safely use hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Essential Skills Welding Troubleshooting Maintenance technician experience Fabrication Preventive maintenance 3 phase electrical troubleshooting Industrial PLC troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Mechanical aptitude Hydraulics Pneumatics Blueprint reading Electrical schematic understanding Additional Skills & Qualifications Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and overtime. Ability to disassemble and rebuild multiple types of equipment. Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (Wire Feed & Rod), Oxygen/Acetylene, and Plasma Cutting. Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery. Willingness to work around large manufacturing equipment and furnaces. Effectively handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Support LEAN implementation and actively engage in lean activities. Why Work Here?
