Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs efficient and effective maintenance activities to maximize the safe production of quality products, minimize costs, and protect the environment. The role involves sustaining knowledge, skills, and abilities required for equipment maintenance, including rebuilding large gear boxes, aligning pumps, and other rotary equipment rebuilds. Welding is necessary, excluding code welding, to troubleshoot, fabricate, install, repair, calibrate, check, and adjust equipment, controls, facilities parts, and services, maintaining the highest level of utilization. Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day maintenance activities following site goals. Rebuild large gear boxes and align pumps. Troubleshoot, fabricate, install, repair, calibrate, check, and adjust equipment. Work closely with Electrical and Instrument Technicians and Operating Technicians. Assist teammates in completing tasks outside typical responsibilities. Maintain parts inventory and support site safety and security. Assist in planning work with operations, contractors, and other plant personnel. Communicate professionally with personnel at all organizational levels. Troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems 480V and below. Unwire and rewire equipment for maintenance and perform basic instrument troubleshooting. Essential Skills
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Maintenance technician skills in hydraulics and pneumatics. Preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting. Welding and electrical troubleshooting. Experience with 3-phase systems and laser technology. Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices. Use of multimeters, motors, and PLC control. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical and mechanical field. Certifications in relevant maintenance or safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA). Proficiency in using maintenance management software. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Why Work Here?

The role is based in an industrial manufacturing plant equipped with machines, conveyors, and more. The shift follows a 2,2,3 schedule, starting with day training from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, for 1-2 months, and then moving to the normal working shift of 7 pm to 7 am. Employees can expect 8-36 hours of overtime per month, with shift differential offered. Equipment includes screw presses, blend tanks, agitators, servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and refiners. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
