PCB Technician
Under close supervision with detailed instructions and frequent review, the PCB Technician installs, repairs, and replaces through-hole and surface mount technology packages, including QFP, BGA, chip components, SOIC, axial, and radial components. The role involves performing solder operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards, maintaining and operating various Printed Circuit Board Assembly Equipment, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Safety and organization are prioritized in the work area, with additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace through-hole and surface mount technology packages. Perform solder operations according to J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards. Maintain and operate various Printed Circuit Board Assembly Equipment including Surface Mount lines, Robotic Soldering, X-Ray, Automated Optical Inspection, and Conformal Coating Applications. Observe all laws, regulations, and applicable obligations during business operations. Work safely in accordance with established procedures. Help maintain work area in an orderly condition by returning tools, equipment, and materials to storage areas. Assist other technicians in moving material and staging for production. Clean and prepare equipment for production use and clean post-production use. Remove trash and scrap as needed. Assemble, disassemble, and fabricate various types of products. Learn machine operations to support production. Essential Skills
Proficiency in Electrical, Engineering, Electronics, Troubleshooting, and Mechanical skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Experience using oscilloscope, repair, and hand tools. Knowledge of wiring, test equipment, installation, production, PCB, installation, calibration, power tools, soldering, electrical wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical systems. Experience with hand tools. Experience with electrical or electronics products. Experience in manufacturing. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine operations such as winders, sprayers, test equipment, and robotics. Work Environment
The position is onsite at the Tupelo, MS facility, working Monday through Thursday, with ten-hour shifts. The work environment involves hands-on tasks and collaboration with other technicians, and all activities are performed in accordance with safety standards. The role does not offer relocation. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
