Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal production and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine electrical maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues in motors, control panels, PLCs, wiring, and sensors.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Install electrical components and systems in accordance with safety codes and standards.
Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and complete required documentation.
Work with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in electrical maintenance or industrial maintenance.
Proficient in reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.
Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or be on-call as needed.
