Mold Setter
This position is for a Mold Technician role involving receiving scheduling from the supervisor to determine which presses require mold changeovers and subsequent processing once molds are set. The facility operates seven plastic injection molding machines, and you will be responsible for approximately one changeover per shift. Perform mold changeovers by unhooking water hoses and valves, completing check sheets, and using an overhead crane or hilo for mold changes. Once molds are set, hook up lines, water hoses, and valves according to check sheets, start up machines, reset programs, and run first parts to meet quality specifications. Operate rubber molding machines with training provided from scratch. Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. 2-5 years of mold setting experience. 5 years of processing experience on plastic injection machines. 3-5 years of experience with process verification. Mechanical aptitude and experience in troubleshooting. RJG Certification. Experience in troubleshooting or editing 6-axis robots.
