District of Minnesota is seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Support Technician to join its Administrative Division

Information Technology Section. In this role, you will be responsible for providing reliable desktop support, maintaining IT systems and network infrastructure, and safeguarding the security and integrity of critical data. This full-time position offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the mission of the U.S. Department of Justice by ensuring the effective and secure operation of technology systems that support federal law enforcement and legal functions. Provide Tier I and Tier II customer service support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software. Support system/network administration functions in coordination with the IT Systems Manager and Specialists. Assist with testing, configuration, installation, and management of networked systems ensuring availability and functionality. Maintain system and data security through the implementation of federal security policies and protocols. Troubleshoot issues related to servers, desktop operating systems, and peripheral hardware. Maintain IT inventory records and support litigation case management and web systems. Convert and maintain web content on intranet and internet platforms, ensuring site integrity and functionality. Support planning and coordination of litigation support technology services. Required Qualifications

Attention to detail Customer service Problem solving Operating systems

Windows Networking concepts and system interoperability Database performance tools and system optimization techniques Information systems security practices ongoing maintenance Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 10 lbs. Education

Post-secondary education (Associate degree or higher preferred). Location
