1st Shift - Cleanroom Technician - $20/hr

Perform mechanical assembly and build units independently. Execute wire soldering and conduct visual inspections. Engage in microscope assembly and small-scale manual dexterity tasks. Review documents, update computer records, and manage raw material logs. Interpret and execute non-standard build requests and instructions from engineering. Collaborate with operators on small side projects and process improvements. Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical assembly and soldering. Experience with batch record and prototype assembly. Capability to lift 25 lbs and adjust between sitting and standing throughout the day. Strong manual assembly skills for small product assembly. Familiarity with hand tools, multimeter, pipetting, and laboratory environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in cartridge assembly and reagent manufacturing kit assembly. Experience with non-standard builds and innovative manufacturing processes. Strong documentation skills and experience with paper-based systems. Ability to communicate effectively and give feedback to engineering and leadership. Work in a clean and controlled environment on the 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of extending to 4pm. Saturday hours are from 7am to 2pm, with advance notice for overtime. Wear protective attire including gowns, masks, gloves, and shoe covers. Be prepared to learn over 100 different processes, stay focused on tasks, and adapt to changing build schedules. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
