Maintenance Technician
This is a temporary position for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician. During the company's ramp up and building of a new production line, the role will involve performing preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on flavoring machinery and facility equipment. The position requires collaboration with other maintenance mechanics and specialists to ensure scheduled repairs on machines such as dry blend, spraying, reactors, extractors, and compounding machines. The role is strictly temporary and requires availability for occasional Saturday partial shifts depending on production. Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as outlined by the company manual. Repair production equipment utilizing mechanical knowledge and printed repair manuals. Assist in replacing production equipment. Maintain a neat and orderly workplace and shop. Ensure the building and grounds of the facility meet the required standards of management. Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements for the operational area being repaired. Maintain inventory of all tools. Perform other duties required by management. Work with GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SSOP, and Safety guidelines. Handle 50% mechanical and 50% electrical tasks. Work with voltages up to 480 volts, including 3-phase motors. Perform HVAC tasks within a food processing company. Ensure attention to detail within quality standards. Apply lock-out tag-out procedures within the food industry. Essential Skills
Troubleshooting Mechanical knowledge Hydraulics and Pneumatics expertise Ability to read blueprints and schematics Industrial maintenance repair Electrical maintenance Preventive maintenance experience Additional Skills & Qualifications
