Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to maintain all plant equipment, including production machinery and facilities equipment. Your focus will be on ensuring a safe and clean work environment with a strong emphasis on quality and productivity. Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on all plant equipment. Troubleshoot, solve problems, and implement countermeasures on all production and facility equipment. Dismantle machines or equipment using hand or power tools to examine parts for defects, and repair or replace as needed. Complete daily maintenance status reports. Coordinate and work with contractors for various activities. Complete daily machine start-up and warm-up processes. Conduct production start-up quality audits. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members on machine operations. Apply SPC techniques to complement the TQC operating philosophy. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills

Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC and SLC ladder logic using RS Logix and 6200 series software. Operator interface programming experience, such as panel views. Familiarity with servo-controlled systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical. Proficiency with computer-aided drawing software, such as AutoCAD. Ability to size electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary business-related information. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled area. Physical ability to lift up to 70lbs consistently. Experience in welding is considered a plus. Education or equivalent experience with a strong emphasis on PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electricity. Industrial experience with direct daily work activities involving PLCs, electro-pneumatics, and electro-hydraulics. Strong background in electrical troubleshooting. Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment where rubber tires are assembled onto wheels for a TMMI facility. The environment is relatively clean for a manufacturing setting, with a significant emphasis on 5S principles. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. Be prepared to work overtime and adapt to the non-climate-controlled area. The shift hours are from 1:15 PM to 10:15 PM. Job Type & Location
