We are seeking a skilled individual to operate and maintain robotic welding equipment. The role involves loading parts into the appropriate fixturing and running the robot welder while upholding established productivity rates and quality standards. The position requires performing in-process quality inspections using test fixtures, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools. Responsibilities

The duties include: Loading parts into appropriate fixturing and operating the robot welder while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Examining welded sections for defects and performing necessary rework. Referencing prints and work instructions to determine the necessary materials, tools, resources, and procedures. Conducting in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet customer specifications using rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc. Performing minor machine adjustments and preventative maintenance. Analyzing and resolving work problems or assisting in solving work problems. Working safely by wearing proper PPE and following all safety procedures and policies. Complying with ISO 9001 standards and practices. Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Assisting in training other welders. Essential Skills

The essential skills include: Robotic welding Machine operating Production Troubleshooting Robot operation Inspection Welding Blueprint reading Additional Skills & Qualifications

The additional skills and qualifications include: 1-2 year welding certificate from a college or technical school, or 1-2 years of prior welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong math and computer skills. Ability to read blueprints. May be required to perform a manual weld test. Why Work Here?

Work in a clean shop with updated equipment and good lighting. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature during the summer months, though it does not have air conditioning. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delano, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
