Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. Flying Bark is seeking an Assistant Production Accountant to join the Production Finance Team to support the Production Accountants on various animation projects and ad hoc tasks. About the Role
Assist with onboarding new hires and crew transfers to new projects Support with weekly payroll processing and posting Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data across projects Accounts Payable; Vendor Setup, Maintain vendor files Obtain invoices from Line Producers and enter AP for bi-weekly invoice processing Adhere to all procedures for Invoices, Payments, and Timecard approvals Purchase Order processing Reconcile Cashet weekly Process incoming finance-related mail and distribute to the appropriate parties Elevate problems to Production Accountants when necessary About You
2 years of payroll and/or AP production accounting experience Comfortable working in Excel Some working knowledge of union pay requirements (e.g., Local 839, Local 700) Highly organized, flexible, and a team player Strong communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Moderate GreenSlate experience Why Work With Us?
