Steel Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating coil compactors, banding, and tagging coils following coating processes. This role includes entering accurate information into the computer system and ensuring coils are tagged and painted according to customer requirements. Responsibilities

Locate material in the yard to run based on the schedule and tag material. Operate hi-lo to perform essential duties. Set up machine straightener and adjust it as required to maintain a straight bar. Band bars using pneumatic banding tools and steel banding. Enter production data into the system. Move completed material into the yard for storage. Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience. Experience setting up and running a machine, preferably steel machines. Sit-down hi-lo experience, including locating material in a yard or warehouse. Basic hand tool experience, including mics and calibers. Proficient computer skills for data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with bander machines is a plus. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
