Sr IT HRIS Business Analyst
The Senior IT HRIS Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and IT, providing expert-level support and leadership for the HR suite of solutions. This senior role is responsible for the oversight, optimization, and continuous improvement of HR systems and tools, including SuccessFactors, UKG, Adobe Learning, and related integrations. The position drives HR technology strategy, ensures data integrity, and delivers actionable insights through advanced analytics and system administration. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to align HR technology with business goals and enhance operational efficiency. Essential Functions: Executes the HR technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and HR strategy. Leads the administration and optimization of core HR systems (SuccessFactors, SuccessFactors ECP, S/4 Hana, UKG, Adobe Learning, Payroll). Oversees system integrations with internal and external platforms (e.g., AD, Concur, benefits vendors). Partners with HR, Payroll, IT, and other departments to assess needs, recommend solutions, and implement enhancements. Serves as the primary technical advisor for HR systems, providing guidance on best practices and emerging trends. Manages system configurations, role-based security, and data governance protocols. Ensures data accuracy and compliance through regular audits and proactive issue resolution. Leads HRIS-related projects from conception to completion, including upgrades, patches, and new implementations. Develops functional specifications and oversees testing and deployment of system changes. Designs and maintains advanced reports and dashboards to support business decisions, compliance, and audits. Translates complex data into actionable insights for HR and leadership teams. Provides Tier 2/3 support for HR systems and serves as an escalation point for help desk inquiries. Develops and delivers training materials and documentation for end users and HR staff. Non-essential Functions: Assists in training business department staff and others using related applications. Assists in the maintenance and publication of SAP Help Documents. Maintains business continuity and disaster recovery documentation related to HR systems. Participates in user group meetings/conferences to stay current with trends. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in HRIS or HR technology roles, with increasing responsibility. Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field; Master's degree or certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PMP, SAP SuccessFactors) preferred. Proven experience with global HR systems, especially SAP SuccessFactors, SuccessFactors ECP, SAP S/4 Hana, and UKG. Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (SAP preferred), relational databases, and integration tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud). Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills. Strong critical thinking ability to review trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to consistently provide quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations while demonstrating patience in a customer service/support role. Ability to effectively meet deadlines and milestones as well as provide timely updates.
