Responsible for creating clear, concise and grammatically correct copy for internal and external communications. Collaborates with others to develop and edit messages to inform and influence target audiences. Ensures integrity of the company brand voice. Responsibilities
Essential Functions Writes copy for internal and external communication including news releases, presentations, advertisements, flyers, brochures, on-hold messaging, digital signage, video scripts and websites. Edits and fact-checks content generated by contributors. Helps maintain and updates internal communication documents including PowerPoint presentations, directories, maps and company history. Provides feedback to team members. Plans and conducts interviews with employee-owners companywide. Evaluates, synthesizes and incorporates ideas and feedback from multiple stakeholders. Ensures accurate information on all projects and copyright rules are followed. Adheres to and enforces company visual identity and style guide standards, maintaining company voice. Stays up to date with Associated Press Stylebook updates. Non-essential Functions Researches industry publications and other sources to remain up to date with the latest communication research and trends. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, journalism or related field. 2+ years of writing, editing or related work experience preferred. Knowledge in Associated Press style. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop a plus. Ability to read, write and speak in English is required. Skills and Abilities
