Human Resources Administrative Coordinator
The Human Resources Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative and human resources support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and the timely and accurate handling of confidential personnel matters. This position is responsible for coordinating administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, benefits, HRIS data entry, compliance, and employee records. This role is expected to actively uphold and model the organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles in all interactions, communications, and administrative processes, ensuring that our workplace remains respectful, inclusive, and accessible to all staff. Duties/Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HRIS records Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, and onboarding materials Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related appointments Support internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests Post job openings and track applicant status Coordinate candidate communications and interview scheduling Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires Ensure new hire paperwork is complete and compliant Enter and update employee data in the HRIS Run standard and ad hoc reports from HR systems Assist with audits and compliance-related tracking Assist employees with benefits-related questions Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefit systems Ensure HR practices comply with organizational policies and federal/state employment laws Assist with coordination of trainings related to compliance, safety, and policies Support maintenance of employee handbooks and policy manuals Support the Chief People Officer's calendar, including scheduling meetings and appointments Prepare agendas and take meeting minutes as needed Coordinate internal and external meetings and events Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Chief People Officer Demonstrate a commitment to DEI by ensuring HR and administrative practices are fair, inclusive, and culturally responsive Help maintain inclusive hiring and onboarding processes Participate in organizational DEI trainings and contribute to a workplace culture of respect, belonging, and continuous learning Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities
2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and Google platform Experience with HRIS platforms preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information Work Environment
Hybrid work schedule- 3 days in the office Salary/Benefits
The salary for Human Resources Administrative Coordinator is $60,000.00 per year, plus benefits.
