Service Valet Position
Paul Miller Motor Company is a family-owned car dealership, proudly serving Central Kentucky since 1953. Our dedicated team of professionals has earned our organization awards and recognition from our peers and manufacturers. We have an immediate need for a Service Valet. The position is full-time and may require Saturday work. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and service of vehicles; see the day-to-day responsibilities section for a more detailed description. This position interacts daily with our Service Advisors, Service Managers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, support staff, and customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately Perform deliveries as required Take Service Customer vehicles into carwash Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant Pick up parts from the Parts Department Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive Maintain building and grounds as needed Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries as needed Requirements of this job include: Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated customer service skills Must have a valid driver's license Ability to operate an automobile Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles Additional benefits include: Health insurance 401k Paid vacations and sick leave Discounts on automobile purchases and services
