To strengthen our Automated Fare Collection team, we are looking for an Engineering Manager who will take ownership of this area's development while leading and supporting the team. With us you will be responsible for: Oversee and drive the development of our new Automated Fare Collection platform, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with company goals. Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a strong engineering culture. Ensure efficient development processes, setting up best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and other Engineering Managers to define and deliver high-quality solutions. Handle managerial responsibilities, including hiring, team growth, and performance management. Who we are looking for: Must-have: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or a similar leadership role. Background in product development area (preferably hands-on experience in the past). Experience in leading development teams and driving engineering best practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to align business goals with technical execution. Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2). Nice-to-have (Bonus Points!): Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, payment solutions, or transit technologies. Passion for improving public transportation solutions. Strong proficiency in Estonian and/or Swedish, both spoken and written.
