Are you passionate about building reliable and efficient backend systems? Do you want to work on solutions that improve public transport experiences worldwide? Join Ridango's Ticketing team as a Java Engineer and help shape the future of ticketing systems! As a Java Developer in the Ticketing team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our core backend systems for ticketing and related services. Your responsibilities will include: Developing new functionalities based on project requirements, working closely with the product owner, project manager, and other developers. Participating in system analysis, architecture design, and implementation to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. Collaborating with QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releases. Assisting with deployment of new features to production environments. Supporting and improving the stability of the system by working closely with the support organization. Fixing bugs found in live systems and implementing change requests for existing customers. What We're Looking For
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and working in a collaborative team environment. Ideally, you have: Strong experience with Java (8+) and Spring Framework. Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2 level) is required. Knowledge of Estonian is a bonus. Come and join the ride!
