TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in TIG welding on aluminum and MIG welding on mild steel. The role involves a 50/50 split between these two types of welding, all performed in a flat, 1g position. The position requires working off of prints and undertaking some fitting duties, along with minor fabrication tasks such as cutting, assembly, grinding, polishing, bending, and cutting. Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on aluminum and MIG welding on mild steel. Work in a flat, 1g position following print specifications. Conduct fitting duties as required. Execute minor fabrication tasks including cutting, assembly, grinding, polishing, bending, and cutting. Essential Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding on aluminum with at least 2 years of experience. Experience in MIG welding on mild steel. Ability to read and work off of blueprints. Fitting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Welding degree from a technical school. Experience in fabrication and aluminum welding. Why Work Here?

Our shop is very clean and organized, with a high ceiling and no air conditioning in the summer. However, we provide Gatorade and ice cream to help beat the heat. You will be working alongside 55-60 employees in the shop, across 3 different weld groups and 12 bays. We offer training on the second shift from 2:45-11:45pm, with overtime available after working 10-hour shifts. Required attire includes steel toe boots, a weld helmet, and weld gloves. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
