Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Nights
Located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, the hospital has a rich history dating back to 1965 when Corona Community Hospital was founded. It has since evolved into a 238-bed community hospital network, with a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The hospital is certified by The Joint Commission and employs over 1,250 trained healthcare workers. Working under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nurse Assistant provides nursing care within the scope of practice, following the unit-specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center. Qualifications
Essential Knowledge/Skills: Current BLS (CPR) required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience as a Monitor Tech preferred or completion of dysrythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days. Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred. Minimum Essential Experience: 2 years of recent CNA experience required. Required Licensure/Certifications: Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester.
