Instructional Systems Designer
Join a winning team SAIC is looking for a self-starting Instructional Systems Designer to assist our intelligence community customer. The hired candidate will be working with an innovative, collaborative distance learning team to provide web-based solutions to a large, diverse, end-user community. Candidate should be skilled in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating instructional and training programs, especially CBT/WBT, and an eagerness to develop robust, interactive, highly effective training solutions is a must. Make a difference in securing our nation's security through quality outreach of NRO's capabilities, tools and tradecraft. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop on-line training products across a wide variety of highly-technical training topics Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to interpret technical information to create appealing, interactive, and engaging training materials Develop interactive application tutorials and demos Develop project schedule and ensure timely delivery of deliverables Coordinate the efforts of all members of project team Perform quality control throughout development process Evaluate existing instructional materials Conduct data collection and analysis with the cooperation of SME's Write course objectives and outline Create and sequence course modules, lessons, and activities Create tests and test items as needed for conformance to objectives Create storyboards to submit to multimedia developers Write audio scripts Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years' work related experience or in lieu of degree 17+ years work related experience 5+ years' experience intelligence analyst (IC or DoD) In-depth knowledge of intelligence disciplines, intelligence cycle, and intelligence products Operational intelligence analyst experience (IC or DoD) 2+ years training/instructor experience Ability to learn, understand and explain highly technical aspects of national systems Willing to travel approximately 25% to include weekends and on short notice Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions Knowledge of visualization, situational awareness and collaboration tools to enhance utility of NRO capabilities to users
