Job Title
Provide analytical support to operations, production, and reporting within a disciplined controls environment. Produce model inputs and perform business analysis to deliver key performance indicators and ensure efficient operations, including the creation of asset inventories, economic assumptions, and reinvestment strategies. Provide timely, quality resolution of inquiries and ad hoc requests. Responsibilities
Run business processes to support Analytics & Hedging that directly impact Transamerica financials. Review and sign off on liability Greeks used by the daily hedging of financial models used to price liability risk. Standardize and automate controls and review workbooks. Build new analytics to aid in the review of data and model results. Facilitate the creation of daily, monthly, and quarterly model files to support regular hedge target updates and inputs for downstream valuation reporting. Assist internal partners in explanation of model results attribution and reconciliation. Resolve potential issues impacting the daily production schedule that might cause interruptions to daily cycle; escalate as appropriate. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, related science field, finance, or related business field. Academic or other exposure in one or more of the following areas: Insurance liability, asset valuation, derivatives modeling, liquidity management, machine learning, artificial intelligence. Good understanding of investment and finance concepts, and be able to creatively apply in solving analytical problems in the business setting. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with asset liability management processes in insurance or banking. Understanding of actuarial and accounting. Working Conditions
