Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position involves servicing forming, CNC, and auxiliary plant equipment. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will provide essential maintenance support across all areas of operation, focusing on both preventative and reactive maintenance efforts. Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all forming, CNC, and related plant equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently. Locate sources of problems by observing machines and mechanical devices in operation and listening for issues that may occur. Essential Skills
Ability to read and understand machine manuals and blueprints. Strong maintenance ability and aptitude to apply mechanical and electrical principles in troubleshooting and repair activities. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented with the ability to focus on minute details of a task. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability and knowledge to safely operate forklifts, power tools, and hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school graduate or General Education Degree with a two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. Experience as a maintenance technician or similar role. Experience in a contract manufacturing or thermoforming environment is desirable. Plastics manufacturing experience is a must. CNC experience, 5-axis experience, and thermoforming experience are nice to have. Why Work Here?
