Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal production efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery including mixers, tablet presses, encapsulators, packaging lines, and HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure GMP compliance. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training programs. Qualifications
Minimum 35 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma, nutraceutical, food & beverage). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and PLC troubleshooting. Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and FDA regulations. Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
