2nd shift available Monday to Thursday 2:30 PM to 1 AM Job Description

Join our team as a Welder on the 2nd Shift, where you will be responsible for fabricating and welding tanks and other industrial equipment using blueprints. Your role will primarily involve welding, with a focus on GMAW and metal core techniques, while also performing fitting tasks once familiar with our processes and procedures. Responsibilities

Utilize blueprints to fabricate and weld tanks and other industrial equipment. Perform welding tasks with a focus on GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and metal core techniques. Engage in fitting tasks after becoming familiar with process and procedures. Ensure structural integrity through precise welding practices. Essential Skills

Proficiency in welding, particularly in fluxcore and structural welding techniques. Ability to weld in 3G and 4G positions. Strong understanding of blueprints and basic welding symbols. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial welder. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in fitting and some stick welding. Ability to work with .045 diameter wire. Structural welding experience is highly advantageous. Preference for candidates with 3-5 years of experience. Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Train on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM for 2 weeks before transitioning to the normal shift of Monday - Thursday from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Our work environment is industrial, involving exposure to weather conditions such as cold, hot, or wet areas. Be prepared to work in dirty and loud conditions with metal clanking noises. Comfort with working in confined spaces and climbing ladders is necessary. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
