Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role involves receiving and auditing incoming materials, conducting daily cycle counts of inventory, processing jobs via computer systems, and handling materials for return to the warehouse or suppliers. You will also be responsible for packaging, wrapping, and crating materials approved for shipping, expediting line down parts to appropriate work centers, and filing documentation per department procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities: Receive and audit incoming materials. Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory. Process jobs using computer systems. Handle materials for return to warehouse, supplier/vendor. Package, wrap, and crate materials approved for shipping. Expedite line down parts to appropriate work centers. File documentation following department procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills: Material handling experience (2+ years preferred). Forklift certification (preferred). Shipping experience (preferred). Proficiency in computer skills. Knowledge of ERP systems and Oracle. Ability to lift 35+ pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma. Experience in high volume material handling environment. Steel toe boots required on first day. Vista Warehouse knowledge. Why Work Here? Join a large technology company that offers opportunities for growth and development. Work Environment: The position is Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with one Saturday per month. The role is expected to last 12-18 months, with potential conversion based on performance and business needs. Employees are required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands for various tasks, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch while performing their duties. Occasionally, employees will move around the campus and may lift or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment is moderate in temperature and noise level, requiring close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must be able to read and interpret data and documents, observe and respond to situations, and interact professionally. Learning and applying new skills is expected, and all work must be conducted in a safe, professional, and ethical manner. Periods of work at a computer terminal will be interspersed with meetings, phone calls, and other communications activities, with occasional overtime required. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
