Material Handler
Join our team at Dematic as a Material Handler and play a key role in keeping our warehouse and logistics operations running smoothly. In this position, you will not be operating powered industrial equipment, but you will be at the heart of our process, ensuring every product is packed, manifested, and quality-audited with precision. We offer: Accurately pack products according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure proper labeling of packages, including barcodes, shipping labels, and handling instructions. Prepare and verify shipping manifests and documentation for outbound shipments. Cross-check item counts, weights, and descriptions to ensure accuracy. Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials. Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming products. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations. Organize and maintain cleanliness in work areas. Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Tasks and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, manifests, and quality standards. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
