Software Capability Lead
In this critical role, you will be the Software Capability Lead, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering within the roadmap for the Common Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CISR) product line. You will act as the voice of the customer and business stakeholders, ensuring that the program continues to evolve to meet changing business needs within an Agile framework. As the Software Capability Lead, your responsibilities will include: Lead a group of software development teams, providing technical guidance and problem solving in progression of the development roadmap Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for the CISR program Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, including Systems Engineering, product management, design, software development, and SI&T to identify and prioritize project milestones Develop and manage technical project plans and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery Coordinate with customer stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, and ensure that solutions meet their needs Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, product management, and other engineering teams Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Work with other Product Owners to ensure smooth hand-off between teams and understanding of cross-team impacts Engage with leadership to report status and escalate risks/issues to drive to a quick resolution Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM field, or equivalent experience/combined education Desired Skills: Experience in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Release Lead Strong understanding of the systems engineering "V" process Experience with customer requirements and the software development lifecycle Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Experience with the CISR baseline or similar products Experience working in a classified environment Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
