Maintenance Technician

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in Harlan, IA, where you will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. You will work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts based on customer demand. Responsibilities

Perform a range of highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing and facility equipment, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct repairs on production machinery and equipment, ranging from basic mechanical repairs to electrical and electronic control system repairs. Maintain general upkeep of facility infrastructures, including power distribution, plumbing, lighting, and compressed air distribution systems. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance at the component level for production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating machine tools and material handling systems. Install and repair electrical apparatus and control system components of industrial/facility equipment and machinery. Ensure a work environment based on efficiency and safety, being detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and having a strong work ethic. Oversee and maintain the building and surrounding external grounds in a clean and orderly condition. Essential Skills

Ability to work with low voltage control systems, single and three-phase AC/DC 110 -480 Volts. Knowledge and adherence to safety standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and local codes. Skills in inspecting, testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting production equipment. Experience in dismantling machines and equipment to gain access to troubled areas and repairing or installing new parts. Proficient use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electrical measurement equipment, and precision machining tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Desirable knowledge of robotics and fully automated systems, including light programming. Understanding the integration of different systems on CNC machining centers, PLCs, VFDs, and automated production lines. Familiarity with procedures to reestablish manufacturers' specifications and realignment of equipment. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Extensive benefits including PTO, your birthday as a paid holiday, profit sharing after 1 year of employment. Workplace Type
