Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Helpdesk Support Technician to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure, with a primary focus on supporting the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11. About the Role:
End-User Support:
You will provide timely and accurate technical assistance to end-users, resolving their IT-related issues and documenting all support activities. PC Builds & Migrations:
You will be responsible for building Windows 11 computers according to established guidelines and assisting users with the seamless transfer of files, certificates, and other important data to their new devices. Software Installation & Licensing:
You will install and configure specialized software for project teams, ensuring proper licensing compliance. Inventory & Asset Management:
You will maintain accurate records of computer hardware and software, including user acceptance letters and inventory updates. IT Security:
You will ensure adherence to all IT security policies and procedures, escalating critical issues to senior staff as needed. Who You Are:
IT Educated:
You possess a formal IT education, such as an associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. A Strong Communicator:
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with users at all levels. Organized & Detail-Oriented:
You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. Additional Info:
Term:
This is a temporary, 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. Pay Range:
