We are seeking a skilled fitter with over three years of industrial fitting experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong fitting and layout skills, and the ability to transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on the floor or table. A strong proficiency in math and geometry is essential, along with experience in fitting structural steel. The majority of welding involves carbon steel flux core welding, which includes grinding, beveling, and tearing down old valves. Responsibilities
Transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on floors or tables. Perform structural steel fitting. Conduct carbon steel flux core welding, including grinding and beveling. Tear down old valves as needed. Understand and interpret weld symbols and dimensions. Essential Skills
3+ years of industrial fitting experience. 3+ years of blueprint reading. 3+ years of fabricating experience. Strong math and geometry skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with MIG welding, flux core welding, and tack welding. Proficiency in complex blueprint reading. Ability to fabricate and fit structural steel. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
